Great Reporting: What are the targets?

The killing of thousands of civilians in Gaza has outraged many across the world and damaged Israel’s already tainted credibility and capacity to maintain the moral high ground. But to determine if war crimes are being committed, a focused investigation needs to be conducted. The beginnings of that are apparent in two recent stories I recommend. +972 has done a very thorough investigation, apparently with good sources inside Israeli intelligence, that builds a strong case that Israelis making targeting decisions that violate the laws of war.
