Nabi Saleh Activist Bassem Tamimi at UC Berkeley

Bassem Tamimi, the activist from Nabi Saleh, continues his US tour. I hadn’t heard that his appearance at Oct. 2 UC Berkeley appearance was disrupted by an irate man wielding an iphone (presumably a pro-Israel extremist objecting to Tamimi’s presence on campus). The parent of a Berkeley student was there, and then had a letter to the editor public in the student paper, The Daily Californian. He described the incident, and also argues that since he is a half-Lebanese Christian, the incident should be categorized as “anti-semitic.”
